First off, Congratulations! I am so beyond stoked that you are here and are getting ready to embark on this endeavor with the absolute love of your life! I am here not only as your photographer, but as your go to girl for all your wedding planning and elopement needs. Below I will walk you through the first steps to take weather you are planning a large formal wedding or saying your "I Do's" on the edge of a mountain side.

Yes you read that right! I truly believe the best way to start planning the wedding of your dreams, is to map out exactly what that would look like to you without the idea of money! Once you have done this, move along to step two.

Set a budget

One tip I have for you is to reach out to a few of your top vendors and get a feel for what pricing will be like in your area. Once you have established a budget, you are then able to prioritize who and what you want most on your wedding day. You will find that some wont make the cut (or maybe they will) or that you may need to compromise for your next best.

START BOOKING

So by now, you have your day generally mapped out and know exactly where your finances sit. Now is the time to hop on booking your top, and most important to you, vendors! One other thing to keep in mind is the vendors that are most likely to be booked out the farthest. This includes your venue, wedding planner, photographer, florist, and DJ.
